It's that time again...our first day back to school!! The kids were excited and had each told me on separate occasions over the past week that they were bored and ready to go back. So we jumped in today full steam ahead! I'm excited about some of the things we will be learning this year. Our 2009-10 school year plan...
Spelling Power
Bob English/Grammar
Writesmith Apprentice (a fun writing class where they will build their writing skills by writing for a pretend newspaper)
Bob Jones Math
Beautiful Feet Geography
Tapestry of Grace, Year 1 (we are excited to start this 4 year unit study that will take us all the way through the "HIStory of the World", this year we will study from Egypt to the fall of Rome)
Bob Jones Science
Introduction to Spanish
Music (guitar & piano lessons on Tuesdays, practice everyday)
Art (we'll do lots of crafts in our Tapestry class and I'm hoping I can get that crazy art teacher back from last year for a few more Bob Ross painting lessons)
PE (play outside every day and play soccer in the fall!)
