Today's Home Ec Lesson...Dirt!

For today's home economics lesson the kids are making Dirt! We have friends coming over later and we thought it would be a yummy treat. We serve it in a flower pot & scoop it out with a shovel (both of which are clean and never used for their original purposes).

Smashing up the cookies...
Beating the filling.. (important lesson learned by Nathan today, DO NOT lift the beaters out of the bowl while beating on high speed!)

The finished product... the pic is a little dark, but those are gummy worms sticking in the top of it.
