SNOW DAY....sort of

We had our first official snow fall this weekend. They were predicting it would snow nearly all day resulting in up to 6 inches of snow (which would be considered a near blizzard down in these parts). But alas, it ended up mostly rain and a bit of snow after dark...here are the kids exploring what was left of it the next morning.
Princesses first discovery of snow...all she wanted to do was eat it...but after a few minutes.... she was whining and cold and had to be carried the rest of the walk home...big baby!!
We typically end our snow days with a "camp in", we roast hot dogs at the fireplace and the kids put up a small tent and sleep in the living room.
Ready for Bed!!
