Kitchen Transformation

My main project I wanted to tackle this summer was a kitchen makeover of our countertop and cabinets. One of these days I'll remember that big do-it-yourself projects mean a lot of hard work & sweat! We started by taking down the valance over the window and prepping the countertops.

New Windows!!

We've been talking about adding windows to our living room ever since we bought this house 6 years ago. Our neighbor got some free windows from his job a few weeks ago and offered to put them in for us. Here is the living room before...figuring out where we would like each window to go. There's one...

Father's Day...

Any man can become a father, but it takes someone special to become a Daddy! So thankful for a Daddy that works hard for his children and loves them dearly. His Father's Day "Daddy" french toast...

Sammy got to try out the sidewalk paints today!! He was very excited...especially about the paint on his hands!!

By the time we were done there was more paint on him, me, and our clothes than on the driveway!!

I let the big kids raid Daddy's irrigation supplies and make some marshmallow shooters!

They are such a blast and Princess & Sammy have fun catching the ammo!!

Summer Fun!

Thankful for our swimming pool on these hot summer days! The kids spend nearly every afternoon out there!
