Princess' WILD RIDE!!

The kids were out playing with Emily's Barbie jeep today when they asked if they could take the dog for a ride in the jeep! I explained that puppies probably don't like to ride in Barbie jeeps...well, I was wrong...Nathan scooped her up and off they went. The crazy dog loved it, they rode around the yard for 20 minutes with her.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Em's class at our homeschool co-op had a Valentine's Party today....here she is going through her Valentine's..I caught her throwing away all the ones that were from boys!! (Dave was very proud ) :) We always have a candlelight Valentine's Day family dinner together, this year breakfast food was on the menu.
Homemade cards...the best kind there is....
We cracked up when we saw Nathan had given us each $ 1.00 in dimes taped to the inside of our cards! I don't know where he comes up with this stuff....

February...

The windows are open...in February!!! We've been spoiled with some "pre-Spring" weather the past few days with temp's in the high 70's. We are enjoying it while it lasts...it's supposed to be back in the 40's by the weekend. Nathan and I spent the afternoon cleaning up our fire pit area.
Here's Dave spending the afternoon cutting trees down..he said they needed to come down so our garden will get full sunlight...personally, I think he just wanted to play with his chainsaw!! Oh well, whatever makes them happy!!
In other news, we took the kids to the Home Depot kids clinic on Saturday. They make a free project the 1st Saturday of every month, this month's project was a cute football stool, in honor of the Superbowl weekend.
The girls usually finish their project first... :)
